(NYSE: STWD) today announced that in anticipation of its upcoming spin-off of Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust ("SWAY") on January 31, 2014 (the "Distribution Date"), Starwood Property Trust is providing an update on the estimate of the book value per SWAY common share on the Distribution Date. As of January 21, 2014, Starwood Property Trust estimates that the book value per SWAY common share on the Distribution Date will be approximately $26.47.
Starwood Property Trust's estimate of the book value per SWAY common share on the Distribution Date is based on management's expectations as of January 21, 2014.
